The first Sonic related review I created. When creating this, I wanted to move away from the typical ‘unboxing/review’ video which frequent youtube. For this review, I kept with the theme of using Sonic 2 down to music and title cards etc. The review was praised by First 4 Figures themselves as well as recieving glowing feedback from Sonic fans and collectors alike.
A Review of First 4 Figures’ 6 mini-figure-pack. Selecting a theme for this video was difficult given the diverse range of characters available in the set. Ultimately, the box artwork was what was used as a base. Like the 12 inch statue review, the review was unanimously praised by the fan community as well as the company themselves.
6 Figure Pack
A Review of First 4 Figures’ Metal Sonic Exclusive Statue. This is probably the review which has taken the longest to plan for (I was throwing ideas around since July of last year). A very quick montage/overview of the Joypolis Centre’s 20th Anniversary Sonic pocket watch. This is the most common of the three available. The main thing that struck me about this watch was the beautiful 3 dimensional quality it had (especially the front cover). I tried to capture this in this montage.
A review of the ‘Premium Figure’ Available throughout the 20th Anniversary celebrations at the Joypolis Centre in Japan. In this film, I thought it important to establish exactly what the Joypolis is, given that it is relatively unknown outside of Japan. The Claw-Machine grabbing transitions were all drawn and animated within Apple Motion.
